After several hours of standing, sitting, laying down, standing, crouching, sitting the tub, and standing...we welcomed the warm embrace of Dr. Feelgood.
Sara took an epidural around 7:30pm and is doing VERY well.
We are resting for the time being. Looking more like a 12/11 baby instead of a 12/10. We'll keep you posted.
Ohhhh, yeah, the epidural is God's gift to women in labor! Glad to hear you're feelin good now Sara. Ben, any word on progress - have they checked her dilation lately? We'll keep praying - it won't be long now!!
That little girl is just like her daddy--going to arrive just before or in the midst of some groovy WI weather. Did you tell her to come with the ice storm?!
I'm faithfully checking your posts and loving them--it's almost as good as being there with you!

She's at 4cm and is 70% effaced.
Looking at the monitor...the contractions have gotten much stronger over the last hour.
Thanks for checking in.
