Spring Break Guests

Trisha and Mitch came to visit us over Mitch's spring break and we had a blast! Even though Mitch "isn't a big fan of babies", he and Annika became fast friends. He got her to laugh better than anyone by snorting like a pig at her...it was so cute!

I also included two really cute pictures of Annika after a bath and rolling over. She has this thing with chewing on one finger at all times...

Milestones...

Much has happened in the past few weeks with Annika...at least it seems like a lot to new parents! She is sleeping longer periods at night (5-8 hours), she's cooing, smiling, standing with assistance, she rolled over (once....we're still working on this one), she's much more interactive, and she seems to be enjoying the dreaded "tummy time" more, thank God! We are starting to feel less in "survival mode" and are starting to really enjoy parenting. I guess the extra sleep helps too...

Annika's middle name is after her Great Grandma Rosemary Werner. Grandma Rosie (along with my Mom and Linda Hinzmann) essentially set Ben and I up on a blind date, and here we are 8 years later...

Brave new world...

We entered the brave new world of cloth diapers this week. Check out this cute hiney!


I'm also posting a picture of Annika in a super cute outfit we got from Ben's aunt and uncle in Arizona before she outgrows it...won't be long!

Annika Meets Grandma Nosbish

Annika has 3 Grandma's and 3 Great-Grandma's and has met all but one so far. We spent the week at Grandma Godard's last week while Ben was traveling. Annika got to meet her Great Aunt Carolyn and her Great Grandma Nosbish while we were there.


She also spent a lot of time at "Grandma Godard's Spa" getting pampered after her morning blow outs.
